The number of SeasonCube required depends on the amount of water. Here is a simple overview:
Up to 150 liters: 1 SeasonCube
300 liters: 2 SeasonCubes
450 liters: 3 SeasonCubes
1,000 liters (IBC container): 4 SeasonCubes
Note:For very large containers such as an IBC container (1,000 liters), we recommend using 4 SeasonCubes for optimum water purification.

Even stagnant water does not really stand still, but is constantly circulating, especially on a microscopic level. Due to the laws of thermals, water is always in motion, and it is precisely this motion that enables the SeasonCube to purify the water effectively. This effect is further enhanced by the horses drinking.
The SeasonCube consists of activated carbon, which has the property of binding certain pollutants and thus filtering them. This process is called adsorption. Algae and bacteria are filtered out of the water before they can multiply.

2. use of the protective fleece: The SeasonCube should always be used with the protective fleece provided to preserve the structure and prolong its life.
3. checking the water quality: A lot happens on a microscopic level, which is why the water should always be changed every 14 days. This saves you having to carry out water tests and prevents hygiene problems.
4. regular rinsing of the filter: Rinse the SeasonCube under running water every 7-10 days to remove accumulated impurities and maintain filtration performance.
5. correct placement: Make sure that the SeasonCube can float freely in the water and is not jammed or blocked in order to use the entire surface for filtration.

The water in your drinking troughs stays fresh for up to 14 days with the SeasonCube. After that, we recommend changing the water to ensure the best possible water quality. Every 7 to 10 days, you should remove the SeasonCube from the drinking trough, clean it thoroughly under running water and then allow it to dry completely.
With proper care, the SeasonCube can be used for several months without any problems. As soon as the filter is full, the cube will disintegrate by itself!
